Layer 4-7 Web Content Switch and Load-Balancer Group Test All too often Internet performance - in terms of speed of access and general availability of web sites and services - is as dire today as it was back in 1995. So why is this? Obviously, there are a number of issues with the Internet itself, but even so, the number of times we find a server unavailable or performance too slow to be usable, is far too common. Both problems cost sales. Every second. Every day. Companies are aware of this and are looking to invest in technology that helps both keep their servers online permanently and guarantees the best possible performance and access to the information and services on them. One key technology they are looking to invest in is intelligent load balancing and content switching, the focus of this Group Test. From a vendor perspective, here is the opportunity for you to demonstrate the full feature set and performance capabilities of your product, in an open, independent test environment. With the assistance of our test-bed partner, Spirent Communications, we will be looking to test the following areas of L4-7 web content switch performance and feature sets.
Testing is planned to commence in Q2 2003 and continue through Q3. Should you wish to participate in the report or would like additional information, please contact us by clicking here. If you are an end-user organisation looking to implement this technology, please get in touch with us and you can help specify the test criteria for this report. By adding your input to our test specifications we can make our reports even more relevant and real-world than they already are. It also means you get more focused information which directly relates to your needs.
